HOW TO HELP | bududa

The Bududa Acting Club has welcomed visitors from all over the world including Europe and North America who have volunteered to both train and teach. The BAC provides room, board, and lasting friendships.

Bududa Acting Club currently lacks a variety of necessary facilities, which weakens its operational capacity. The BAC currently rehearses outdoors on fields, forests, and anywhere they can find shelter. These poor conditions disable them for unlocking their full artistic potential. Additionally, the BAC lacks cameras and filming equipment such as basic props and costumes (currently, Ronald and Charles both design and make them by hand which requires materials and time that is hard to come by).

The BAC runs on donation from both locals, its own members, and the international community. We hope to count on your support.

Current Challenges:

To save up enough money to rent an office space that can simultaneously run as an educational theatre for the Bududa community.
Set up a bank account for a more efficient way of receiving international donations.
Capital for better props and costumes in preparation for national competitions.
